The only thing that's wrong in the first one is the text. Everything else looks ok.

The second one, however, you seem to have problems with the text, background, and picture.

Try to put a more Metallic/Dimensional text to it.

For the second one, you should start from stratch and make sure not to make it blurry with stripes all over it.

Get the original picture, and change the text to match/blend with the background.

I also don't think green is a suitable character..

Umm, to many filters on the second one. The first is too simple.
What program are you using exactly? .. By the way, the pictures are to big to use as a signature or something. Just take a piece of the picture and add it to add it to a smaller background.
