Ok, i finally have photoshop now, so i can experiment, but seeing as how i have a project due monday and a project due friday, then a notebook to fill out, this is the only one i will be doing.

The picture in my signature that i did is the one with ryu and the lightning ball, not the one with him and akuma - (but yes, i admit, it is very nice but i cant take credit for it)

hmm...I have to say that the Ryu tag/mini-splash looks pretty good, lightning effects alright as well...yet I would lessen the er...I think its called sprayed strokes?

anyways good work, I hope to see better things from you in future

Did you just add filter(s) to a picture and add some text?
The only thing that looks good is the lightning effect like Nas said.
I'm gonna go rate it yet.
Just make it into a banner or something, then add downloaded text and some brushing, THEN I will rate it.

meteor, i need some help on that part, i cant figure out how to upload text and brushes, and how do i make it in a banner, im a #### at this kind of stuff.

PS: Nas, i made a layer, filled it black, added max noise, some motion blur and made it blend to vivid light then it turned to that. Then i added some extra coloring and i messed with lightning stuff to make the light stand out more.

yo how i make banner smaller on photoshop nas can u tell me i know howbut how i put the picture in the white box

The text needs to be improved.

And for your banner, you should add some effects to it.
