GFX Design is not for everyone. You must have talent and imagination; otherwise you will never be able to create something good. So if you're not a very artistic person, I wouldn't reccommend getting into GFX.

That being said, most of the better creations are done in Photoshop 7.0 or higher.

I see so I guess I could probaly mess with Gfx but I should really stick with photoshop....its all becomin so clear.

Paint is terrible to use... sorry. I use Arcsoft Photostudio.. For those who have a windows XP i think it comes already installed.. thats what i used to make my sig..

you think or you know.... they only have the updated for 7.0.1 but it wont work unless u have an older version of photoshop...:confused:

Well photoshop is the most common used program and from the looks of it it works so I guess im sticking with that.

you know this is so true actually, most GFX'ers as you call'em at times do not realize thus resulting in bland creations. Also I guess this is the biggest advice you should know when starting. Never learn someone else's style when starting, you should create your own by various tips and advices but it should never be the exact same as someone else's if your being taught.

This is a rule that most people should use, it's alot harder to get out of a style when you don't know how to use a program masterfully. I've seen alot of artists go in the wrong direction. Its not a glamorous life either, you must be willing to spend countless hours to learn your capabilities and that of the program's. Oh and you're never too old to learn new tricks.

Ok, I see I gotta use Adobe Photoshop 7.0, but...what do I use to make my own VIP Avatar?! I don't know how to do animated Avatars like that unless its already animated.

jealousy is a terrible thing dude look EA makes VIP avatars and do i cry so i would know how to make them???and also your no vip it says your member if you want vip status you gotta tell tmyapp or viper2040 or some other super admin to put your tittle to vip but you gotta show them proof first...then you will get your avatara when your request them at EA's thread(its a vip thread you cant see it because your not a vip)

image ready can be used for simple methods of animation but if youwant a complex form u need to learn how to do flash.

Are you serious......and can you be a lil bit more clearer.What do you mean how do you load it onto your banner....its paint thats how you make banners.You make banners by putting pics together and then putting your name together.

its like impossible with paint.exapt thats all i got.i only edit my characters with it,like the bison in my current sig.

and plus,in paint you only can use on pic,you cant add any into the picture.

Errr... i dont use Arcsoft anymore, I use teh Photoshop.
