Hi! ... i'm currently working on a new fighting-games related website called GuardBreak (http://www.guardbreak.tk). It's very small at the moment, but i intend to add to it with (more) reviews and match vids - however, i'm on the lookout for other digital fight enthusiasts to post/lurk on the forum. There are a lot of categories, spanning a lot of different games - also some specific company boards (Capcom, SNK, AM2). What i'd like is for people to register and start using the board however they want - even if it's just to promote match vids, websites, XBox Live! gamertags... it really doesn't matter to me - i'd like to see the site/forum thriving however the fighting games community wants to play it (npi).

So, if you'd like to be in on the ground floor of a forum that has the potential to be a success, i'd like to have you aboard. The site URL is http://www.guardbreak.tk, but to jump straight to the forum it's http://guardbreak.proboards54.com. Or, if you have any ideas on how i could work on GB (it wouldn't be difficult to tell me how to improve! ^_^), or would like to contribute, i'm an e-mail address away - fatal_strike@hotmail.com - that works for MSN Messenger too, if you want to chat directly.

Okay, that's about it! It'd be fantastic to see some real hardcore fight fans join the board (but casual players are welcome too!) - domo arigatou!

Well, GuardBreak is basically a community forum for people who like fighting games to discuss them, and a base to post any related items they've worked on (reviews, match vids, fanwork) - people may not have webspace, or can't be bothered with designing a whole site just for a few downloads, so why not pool these resources for the community to enjoy? ... i looked around the 'net and have seen many forums for individual games, but not too many that encompass all fighting games - people seem to like an individual game and stick to related forums, but i'm sure there are people out there who want to discuss more than one game. Also, i want GuardBreak to be used as a general board for people to arrange meet-ups (beyond one or two people) - a lot of fighting games sites are very regional, but GB aims to serve the whole world. For instance, people may live in the UK and attend tournaments there, but also may want information about tournaments and matches in America. In short, i'd like people to get access to what's going on fight-wise around the world with GB.

It may sound like a very ambitious project for someone without a domain name and on a public server (at the moment!), but for me, fighting games are a passion, and i'd like to take that beyond playing them. http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/bigsmile.gif

Nice avatar, by the way.
