Spidey taking a beating

its seems no matter how much i block, he always take a ton of damage. is this here to balance out the fact that he has spidey sense and can tell b4 a special is being done because it does't really balance out. I land and i block because i see spidey sense then i lose a ton of life because of his weak defense. Even haduken does a ton of damage.

It's been a super long time sense I've last played but yeah if I can remember right spidy was taking a lot more damage then usual but so has akuma.

Spidey is the best character in the game. The reason you take so much damage when fighting as spidey, is because he's not a "blocking character", he's a doging character. You are supposed to doge specials, not block them. Because spidey can stay in the air so long and he is so quick, his defense is almost not there because he HAS to have some kind of weakness. Blocking should be only used as a last resort. You said when you land out of a jump, he takes damage..i have found that to be true as well, but like i said you are supposed to doge specials not block them. Sometimes it's better to take a crouch block instead of standing block as it wont glitch and make you unblock and loose life. Yeah the sfo spidey is still kind of glitchy and weak when it comes to defense, but he is such a powerful character that it's really the only way to balance him out. So doge, instead of block, more..and you shouldn't loose as much life when fighting as him.

His spidey sense is kind of glitchy, because if it really supposed to detect a special is about to come..... then it really should do that, which is does at times, but sometimes it do a spidey sense, but your opponent doesn't do a special.... maybe because of lag I guess.

that kind of odd and wield at the same time. i would like to say that wolverine and spiderman suppose to have some type of super sense thing where they are suppose to be alerted before anything goes wrong but sense we have expert mode and many people use it the sense is gonna lag because you would never know when the other person is gonna do a special .

i would recommend that you use normal or turbo setting so that there sense wont lagg as much[U]

Yeah basically the spidey sense is a waste for expert mode. The spidey sense is too slow to reconize the special.
