I. Introduction

Salutations SFO members this is the SFO Camera Club Thread.This famous club in the community dates back atleast 2 years ago when first founded and created by GFX user Saijin_Ryu.At the time many poked fun at the thought of this thread being immortalized,but Saijin_Ryu knew his ideals were advanced...and needed time to gain popularity.....soon enough this club as you say became the most successfull club in the community.It's death was marked on August 8th,but it's rebirth was September 30th due to my love for the camera.

II. How To Take A ScreenShot
If you'd like to know the EASY WAY to do this please follow these directions:

Go to the following link and download the one called "Gadwin Printscreen" [Not the Professional one as it is the limited version and will place watermarks on your screenshots.] http://www.gadwin.com/download/ (http://www.gadwin.com/download/)

Tweak the settings in Gadwin to match the following.

Preferences: Check "Run at Windows Setup" (so if you turn off comp, next start up you don't say "ahh crap I thought I had gadwin printscreen on, but it wasn't")
Source: Check "Current window"
Destination: Check "Copy captured area to file" and "Automatic naming". Call the file name w/e u want. Set a "capture directory" which means w/e folder you want to store the shots. So if you call the shots "supersfx" then each file is named "supersfo001" then "supersfo002" etc.
Image: Set it to PNG (best quality for screenshots)

Now after all that, Whenever you press "prntscrn" it will be autosaved to the folder of you choice, with the name of your choice, without ever having to leave SFO. :biggrin:

For the hardcore, old school, don't wanna change, my parents won't let me download that program :biggrin: feel free to follow this older format:

1. Get the image you want on top of everything on your desktop.Basicly the active window have that infront of everything.

2. Click once on the button on your keyboard that says "PRINT SCREEN".Holding the "Alt" button with the "PRINT SCREEN" button lowers loading time of the image to your browser.

3. Next, open up Microsoft Paint.

4.Go to Edit and hit Paste at center of screen.
Or RIGHT click mouse button and go to Paste.
Or hit and hold CONTROL button and hit the V button

5. Use The Rectangle Tool to crop/cut the image like so=

Whatever you outline with the rectangle tool that's exactily what your cutting/cropping out.

6.Click New and paste your cropped image,and you can also expand the image and the bitmap...like so=

7.. Save the image or picture to MS paint or whatever paint program you have.Save the image as a JPEG. if you plan on hosting the image.

NOTE: Make sure the gray bitmap is tightily wrapped around the image before saving.

8. Find a website to host your image.

I recommend the following=

Photobucket.com (http://photobucket.com/)(Double Click Underlined Text)
Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us/)(Double Click Underlined Text)
www.xs.to(copy (http://www.xs.to(copy) & paste url into browser)

IV. Rules
Sense I was informed by a superior all mugen or emulator related material....even if it's street fighter...is to.. be prohibited from the SFO Camera Club.


These images don't support Street Fighter Online...

Anyone cuaght posting a screenshot from Mugen or a emulation program....will recieve a serious warning from me.

The misinformed party will be sent a private message warning...on first act of offense.....and if that party neglects my text....then I'll inform an NWO.......and trust me you don't want to neglect an NWO...

Also please hold integrity to the topic....

Listen you dont need paint shop
Just take a screenie (PRINTSCRN >next to the F12 button)

@tony, when you take a screenshot. Open PaintMS, paste the picture by clicking ctrl+v. Once you have done that, click" save as." You will see "Save as type," if it's on BMP*, change it to "JPG, JPEG"
