Can't create an account?!?!?!

I dont understand this. I just got the game yesterday, I downloaded everything you need to play SFO even the patch. The strange part is when I try and create an account it say "You are running an outdated version, please update it or see the FAQ". I've tried many times to re-download the necesary files but every time I try it says you're running an outdated version. It probably wont help, but try refreshing the page and redownloading the files.. http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif *Also try clearing your cache in your internet options.
If all else fails use the internet version until the problem is
fixed.

But sometimes you gotta keep trying when it says that.. and sometimes that account has probably been created already.
