Fighters Generation

This topic is for the pre-release of Fighters Generation.

This story starts with Ryu, and his ongoing struggle to contain the evil Dark Hadou. While Ryu attempts to dismiss this power, he is,
as always, being monitored by Akuma. Akuma watches Ryu's progress in the Dark Hadou and vows to bring Ryu to to the evil
side of the Hadou arts by any means ..

While Ryu is struggling to control this power, Bison, in another part of the world, is being fully restored after his defeat by players
during "The Final Five" confrontation. After Bison's power is restored, he seeks fighters to gauge his new power. Unfortunately
his victims are Guile and Chun-Li, who already on their own quest to find Master Gen. Chun-Li seeks Gen to train, she
seeks to gain the knowledge of the mysterious killing arts that were used to once defeat Akuma.

Chun-Li needs this knowledge, to of course defeat Bison, the man who killed her father in the original SF series.
After Bison's defeat, he recruits a spy/assasin, Cammy, to gather information for a new host body. Cammy reports back
with good news... She tracks Ryu and Ken, she informs Bison that these two fighters contain much hidden potential, and that
the fighter Ryu, once defeated the Thai master Sagat. Bison speaks to Sagat and lets him know that he may be able to
exact revenge on Ryu.

Ryu sleeps one night, and has nightmares of Akuma, he brushes it off as just a dream, but he's wrong.
Ryu seeks Ken Masters, as the only person that he has ever been able to go to with all of his problems. Ryu finds Ken, and
explains his current situation with his inside struggle, while Ryu and Ken try to figure a way to calm the evil ...
Suddenly, the figure from Ryu's dream appears .. Akuma is hell bent on releasing the evil within Ryu and attacks them both
in a violent rage.

Bison picks up the huge power increase and begins to hone in on the power that he wants for himself.

** Meanwhile **

Sakura, of course starts her never ending quest to find Ryu .. who she will eventually meet, and enter a master / student
relationship... But thats not the only relationship that those to will have :biggrin:


Anyway, this story will be released on, or around May 15, 2009

yeah, release it on the date you said it will, that's 2 weeks in the future, its fine by me !
by then their stories might have ended to begin with.

mine will take a lot of time to plan, but when its done, believe me, just that one story will make them go for a month or so !
just do it as you want, anyway we did say we wouldn'T release more then one story per mod per week !
my next release is DANGER ROOM 2.0
nothing to compare to your story if you ask me !
so go ahead, i'd like to see how this ends up !

i hope you recover from it, and that no one was hurt. i had something recent happen to my bro like that, but it was someone he knew.

the so-called friend asked my brother for a ride, then as soon as my bro left, he was in my bros room stealing from him. he had waited around the corner from our house, so he could see him leave and sneak in. my brother has his room detached from the house.


just goes to show, when people know where you live, especially people you may not get along with so well, the more careful you have to be. they had always had slight problems getting along.


i dont wanna know the details since i know its personal, and with something like a breakin, there is really nothing you can do to prevent it, if someone wants to get in, they can find a way in. a dog is always good for that though. but i wouldnt wanna put my dog in danger either. that really sucks though man, and i just hope you recover well from it and stay safe.

The following video is a teaser of only the story lines for the TMC story, Fighters Generation.

The story has been in development for some time, and is currently still in production. The story, fights, soundtrack etc.. are all finished, the only thing that holds the release back so far.... is staff testing...

Sucks right? Oh well..

Cant just be throwing a story out in the air all willy-nilly, now can we..?

Just a bit of info, there are no easy battles in this story mode, and it is alot longer than any current single story released. Story & battle - wise.

There will be prizes offered of course.. Of course I dont exactly have all of the prizes worked out.. so far..
This is only chapter one.. there will be several installments of this particular story mode, M.Bison will be the main character behind the next installment ;)

Anyway, I've been doing some testing, apparently there were some internal problems, as far as completely loading the story, and freezes on some of the staff's computers.
I dont get any problems on my end, and neither did TMy, or several other PC's ive tested it on. Both D/L and web versions.

So, everything for the most part seems to be working in tip top shape, I may make a couple changes to helpers and such.. other than that, Good to go.

Update.

At the moment, the exact source of the bug/glitch has not been completely tracked down.. but, on a positive note, it has been removed completely.
You would think that means I have tracked it down and zapped it right? http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/cheesy.gif Well.. no... It means that I had to disable nearly all of the functions
to make the story mode work properly. http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif

At the moment.. the story has been stripped of all but the story line and basic commands such as difficulty and character conversations.
The storyline still stands, but certain features such as .. specified helpers, assigned character colors or adjustments to health, size, special attack bars, etc...

So, with that said, I am currently workin on the Next Chapter of Fighters Generation along with tracking down the problem... Oh, also.. the problem that I have been talking about is here:

Now.. That bug no longer exists in the story mode.. but I do have to add features back to the story mode, one by one, to test which of them caused the probleme above.

Well, that was just a little info on the progress of the story mode.. Dont want to keep everyone in the dark..
