are you using windows XP? if so you can try manually allowing the port you use to be opened from windows firewall, i was force to do that acouple days back when windows firewall starting acting up and that was the only solution ever since i cleared the whole "exceptions" list and then never again this the popup to allow SFO access to port nerver show up again..
