I can't defeat the Daywalker Ancestor Spiderman in the lycan story mode with wolverine , any tips?

lol tips, when u see the glitch where u keep attack the side, and spidermans attacks only go to the side (away from you) keep attack to the side and get your level bar to 3, and then spam his ass, then redo this as needed

This part was very hard. I dont remember how I beat him, I think I just kept trying and finally got lucky. But yeah he spams that one move over and over and is VERY hard to beat, until you develop / know a strategy.


And the thing he was talkin about I think, is to keep spamming the regular attack (barrage) in the corner. (Dont let up for a sec, and when he does his special he will attack other side of screen, and never you, as long as you are still CONSTANLY spamming the barrage regular move.)


Then when you build level 3 (and make sure he has used all his current specials before you attack after that) then attack him, and repeat.


Basically using that method you build levels in corner, wait for him to waist his, then use yours on him, and repeat. http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Thanks Josh26, you explained well throughout. I will try this new tactic and see if i can top the Daywalker Ancestor that is Spiderman!

Edit: i'm trying to spam the X thingy special but i can't get close enough to get him.

I agree this was very hard even with that cheap trick i think the staff finally made a story thats completely impossible to beat without cheaping it speaking of cheaping it you can do weapon-x with wolve
