Hey guys. Im gonna get a wireless router but i dont think i can live without my host..So i wanna ask if does anyone knows if its possible to open the ports of the game. Ive heard it is, ive heard its not, because its run on shockwave..Technical help required...Other thing..My Aggressor account was auto-terminated because someone used it..ah well, i keep getting ignored by everyone including TmYapp who is a great guy but only answers when i donate..Mods, can u please help on changing my password? Please? Thanks for the attention..

I guess it has a simple resolution..password change and voilá..2 min of someones time..its all im asking for..Ah well, il wait for tmyapp answer. im gonna ask him to reset my scores. i wanna start all over again.

The reason he answers when u donate is cause he wants to show u verification not cause he's waiting for u. You know how much $5 helps us overcome the bill this game racks up ?? I don't think u wanna know, so don't get the wrong idea.

As far as routers go, after extensive testing... there hasn't been a method in which hosting a game from a router can be possible. This isn't the router's fault so opening ports won't do anything.

It's macromedia, and their refusal to update anything for Director 8.5 to enable routers to host... and since this is the program the game was built on (that's why sometimes, running the game on shockwave 8.5 is preferrable) there's nothing we can. if youwant to host, unhook that monster we call a router http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif

Ok, thanks for the info dude. very apreciated. but there must be a way, and i will sort it out. if i do il let you know. Oh, by the way, i didnt donate 5$, i donated a lot lot lot more and im very proud for that, i really am. Im glad i can help paying the bills, and help get the community better..i dont expect to be treated differently from any other member just because i donate, but its just that, the way i donated in such a short period of time was actually chatting by email lolol its selfish i know, but all i wanted was some feedback..When i really needed something i was completely ignored.ah well, we cant have everything right?
