Now that I've almost finished the forum upgrade and customizations I did a complete scan of the database to correct broken user accounts, broken emails, incorrect posts counts etc and re-calibrated everything.
it seems that many hundreds if not thousands of posts counts were incorrectly allocated on the old forum. This has now been corrected on the new forum. So you may notice your post count going down or up. Don't be alarmed - this is your true post count. If your posts have gone down you can come and complain to me and you will get a nice big fat yawn.
