when i join sum1 else host it bettween 234-536

shouldnt it be lower.

when you join other people's hosts your in there so called server, so you ping is always going to be high, because of distance lag, a suggestion to how you can lower it, is to find players who live close to your own area, and also you can try reduce lag in general by...
-playing on downloadable version of the game
-play with no sound and no music
-play with no background
-don't run any other programs whilst playing, like media players and instant messengers
