How come i cant HOst I got verizon dsl. But anytime i host no one can join and by my name u see this----------->(0). I need help. Plz

You are behind your routers firewall, its a very simple problem to solve and most DSL users suffer from the problem I'll try to help.

But since you have a different I.P I'm more than sure that you would have to go through an intirely different procedure.

you can't host because dsl gaves you a firewall which doesn't let you host a game to join a game you have to go options click network
them click i'm behin a firewall or porxy but that only allows you to join games not to host them i hope it can help

i have a westell dsl box thingy. it connects to my network everywhere router. its model # is NR041 if that will help.

Well if your using a router, you won't be able to host games or challenge others.

I got a modem also, but still can't host.

But it's because i'm behind a network with two or more computers.

Yes you can host with dsl, I post a while back last year a guy showed us how to host for people with Verizon DSL and I think it's mastergrim and he doesn't come on the forum much but if you see him ask hime or wait and see if he will post how to do it in this topic.

You can't host with a router so just accept challenges and join games.
