View Full Version : Suggestion TMC Casino Colors for Sakura or Bison?
According to SSJKarma's thread about creation of SFO Casino, here are my thoughts about it:
Okies SFO ppl, Wouldn't it be cool to have casino colors for Sakura and Bison? Why? lemme kinda explain:
Since we pull the lever to earn tokens, then if necessary, we go to the token market and trade the amount of tokens we get, to get creeds for Ryu, Ken, or Akuma colors. Why not follow the same procedure for Sakura or Bison?
We all know that Sakura is balanced among other SFO characters. I am just saying that it'd be cool for her to have red, blue, or green casino colors. NOT ELITE COLORS.
Now, I am not sure if Sakura is a "shotokenmaster", but wouldn't it benefit the idea to give her some kind of casino color creed? Maybe the same way could be said about Bison?
If Bison ever gets fixed, and not "overpowered", the idea of him getting TMC colors could make alot of ppl on SFO interested. Even though there are good sakura & bison users out there.
Overall, all I am trying to say is, maybe adding another character to SFO Casino character list can be kinda fun.
*Sighs*, this is just my discussion idea.

Why are you always unsure of yourself and always have to look for staff member support?
I think the idea is great. New casino colors are needed for Sakura or Chun Li. I believe this has been asked for before but we also need to be able to have more than one casino color at once. It's annoying having only one tinted ryu and you cant tint the rest. Sakura is a good choice in my opinion.

Its been a great while since i made something with the casino. let me explain why...
my goal was to give people something they wanted, a trade market where they could trade tokens for colors, sizes, or even titles. at first the slot machine was just that, a slot machine but then i wanted to do a card game like and decided to go for full casino. Over the months i was creating the slot machine, i had a lot of ideas, ideas that actually required a lot of work. in the end the more i worked that idea, the more i wanted to let it go and stop working on it.
thats how i work my projects, 3-4 of them at once... i'm an idea bringer but i still intend to do the casino in some ways... but not for what it is now... the idea is still there, i still want to work on it here and there but i dont want it to be something just for the trading. and many people actually dislikes the idea of having randomly tokens. as such my idea for the trade market (who was the better idea compared to the slot machine) was to change it to soemthing that worked better.
the why i created the thread about it becoming an unlock system based on how many wins you had. so what will happen with this... well you'll see a lot more things when i start working on that one idea. a lot more things will open up in the trade market and the casino will be gone. not for good, but gone for the time being and brought back for other kind of events instead of being a full time event.
dont worry i keep the logs of what people have right now and thus nobody should lose anything in the process.
but right now i'm working on something else, so bare with me...
there will be light at the end of the tunnel i can assure you of that.

2. If you look at the bigger picture, dude? We can come up with good ideas, but if you really think about it, staff members would actually decide if it's gonna be implemented or not. They have the better chance of reaching TMyApp, then we do! Thats why Hado-king.

Everyone is unsure about everything. Few things in life can be said with certainty. You may be unsure but thats why we have suggestions. If they get enough support from everyone we can make them happen :)
The staff is closer to Tmyapp, that is true, but your tone always seems to be saying: " I have this idea, but I dont know what to think about it unless a mod tells me its good." As long as you think the idea is good, go ahead and post it :) SSJKarma might hate it because he hates shotos or something but Blockattack or Wolfeh might love it. You never know. Just be sure of ur ideas and dont let anyone tell you that your ideas suck, even if its a mod. Its happened in this forum before :D

First i'm not hating on Shotos, hell my favorite capcom charcater is viewtifull joe and ken.
Ryu is even in my top team in MvC3. in SFO i do not hate any characters, i love them all... just that somehow i play better with sentinel then i does with everyone else.
but yeah, have more faith in yourself... dont stop at "will staff like it" because our liking or not is pretty much based on how you say it. say something along those lines "I think it would be great to have this feature because it would bring certain degree of fun in the game." and we'll be considering it. say it like this "I'd love to have this feature, so add it already" and we're bound to tell you to go to hell with it.
so it really depends on you say it. of course the engine is old so what tmyapp can do is pretty much limited. but seeing what he gave us with TMC, there are still a lot of things he can do.
in this case, it is not tmyapps casino, it is mine and as such i'm the one who takes the decision about this one. so my answer is, i didn't forget about it, i just decided to let it go for a while. when i'll be back to it, you'll see a whole new system.

Brilliant idea for sakura and bison having colors / ghosting effects , i wonder whether sfo will add more colors to the previous TMC color

Some kind of shrinkage prize would be A LOT better than ghost form prizes.. Ghost forms is nothing, shrinkage is amazing, imo.

Yeah it should eventually happen, plus karma is working on a whole new Market place. So it should have more then the current casino has.

i always do a great job at what i do.
as for the shrinkage... think of it this way, we shouldn't give that to everybody, because enabling them to shrink in pretty much every games they do reguardless of the modes isn't something trivial, it will lead to a lot of people telling about very unfair advantage.
i think blockattack prooved that a lot with his whole smurfs episode back in 2009-2010.

Matter of fact, this ideas as started. but i need to do the engine first before starting on what it will give.
whats going to be in this...
- general colorisation of character (one unique color applied to the whole char, exemple of the actual market)
- More then 3 color of choice.
- Predefined In-Game titles. (like where you are standing at, not your own choice.)
- ghost form (each char will have a ghost form)
thats pretty much all there will be availlable, of course in those all comes in individually, but with more wins you'll be able to unlock double items, and even tripple items. but be guaranteed that a lot of wins will be needed to unlock all of those. basically the goal will be for everyone to fight a lot to unlock everything, finally giving a goal to those who just want a new goal, they'll need to fight to unlock things and that may take them a lot of time.
at that point we'll see but for now i still need to do the engine which isn't going forward too fast becaus ei got another project im working on that is way older then this one and needs to be finished with.
Hopefully it doesn't reset your win's when you log out of SFO or something (Like when you have to unlock character's and it never fully registers in the system) Also I cant wait for this. Hopefully there won't be no MANDATORY title on you when you get a item (Other then a title) such as ((DeathLuX)) (v) Light Red Ryu. Instead just having it w. out the title on your account. you're asking too much, it will use a general creed and as such your title will be what will be given to you with the said item, but the creed, will always be present in the names, becaus eit is a creed.

But one thing im thinking about this Casino topic, how about instead of ghost lets add a fading ghost form and im practically thinking thats a staff only perk since fading ghost form isnt allowed and i know im not suppost to post things practically unrelated to this but also I'm suggesting a new prize involving casino only in tourneys.I'll make a thread and explain myself with more details.

1. Stake meaning = possibly a new update for SFO, new bugs, maybe new TMC market by SSJKarma, new balance fixes in the helpers, new colors being picked soon by TMyApp from Bi Annual CC Contest, a fixed new SFO engine, and other balance issues, etc;
2. Didn't you understand what SSJKarma's earlier posts stated? it states that he has 3 projects being worked on atm, so eventually it will take a few years b4 he finishes them all (including looking into the TMC casino matter). Your asking him to do too much stuff for TMC, when indeed, hes' got to finish his other projects 1st.

I did nothing wrong. Im actually putting some of this for a prize in future Tournaments even might be a prize for CoW. But since you are apparently spazzing at me for no apparent reason, I think You ruined those prizes for everyone who wanted them. I never did anything wrong to you or even in this thread. So what ever your going through, leave it for your outside world and don't bring all this to SFO please. Im stating my opinion such as you do. No need to argue over this. 1. SSJKarma working on a TMC item/App, will have little to NO delay on an SFO update or New colors being brought into SFO by TMyApp what so ever. TMyApp is not going to fix the helpers anytime soon if ever. & A new engine... Highly Doubted (for now at least)

My overall point is: I hope SSJKarma will make a new market for TMC and it can include Sakura & Bison casino tint colors. Like the same concept for Ryu, Ken, and Akuma. Red, Blue, Green, and ghost forms.
