as for requesting your own/custom mCodes? well... the "temp/patch" system that we had for the last month or so has been working quite well, so, under the same guidelines as before.. from NOW on... you have to email your mCode requests (at no more than 2 per week) to:

sfomcodes@streetfighteronline.com
(*IMPORTANT-new* To anyone sending a request for a mCode: make SURE *the title/subject is "mCode Request" or it may take longer to get you your mCode due to the spam/wrong mail we get each day, with also no titles.)

- Go to Options (at the main menu)
- Click the "Other" tab. *You should then see this window.

At the bottom, you have to enter the approved outro in the "Text" box.
NOTE: *To make sure you don't make an error, type out your text in "Notepad". Then copy and paste.

An mcode is a 6-digit number that was assigned to your approved outro. *If you don't have it, it WILL NOT work.

Anyway, let's say you want to use this outro (EXAMPLE OUTRO DOES NOT WORK. *DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE IT)
you will simply type it in as so

Again, make sure you type in your outro the same way it was approved. *Then click save. *You should see this.

On that note, if you have a firewall, it might block connestions to our server that handles the mcodes. *Set your fireall to allow the connections used for SFO, or your mcode might not work.

I really enjoy using mCodes. I personalize them with my name as much as I can to prevent others from using it. The only thing I disslike about it is having to fill it in everytime I wonna play. I was hoping somewhere in the future it could become possible that the mCode your using will be saved till you change it again. That would be great. For the rest all the features are of the hook and having mCodes is a great thing indeed!!

Why doesn't my mCode work? It say that it has been saved and it will be sending the message to user when I beat them. When I beat them, I still get the same message from old times. It doesn't show mine and I'm on my VIP account. If it get disable in the tournament server, doesn't apply to me since I'm in the SFO Anniversary Server

You never loose them; just use the codes that were sent to you, the exact way it is written in the email.

For those who haven't recieved theirs in the past 2 weeks, send them again. We've been behind on a few of these emails, seeing that we had to update the game (thanks to cheating *******s http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif ) and a few other things.

So if youhaven't recieved urs and u sent one within the past 2 weeks, just send the request again.

Yes yes I know.. we're having problems with the mcode emailing system and it's becoming difficult to filter out the real mcode requests from spam and virus emails being sent to us daily. We get like 1000 emails every 4 days and only 10 of 'em are mcodes.

But after the 5th of August, those who sent their mcode requests in the past one week, should send it again. You'd be recieving a reply as soon as possible http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif

xJOKAx: You have to send ur request to the email address on the first page of this topic, and you'll get an mcode sent to you. If it doesn't work, make sure you leave the right amount of spaces and have all the words in small caps.

If all fails, you'd have to wait till the next cycle and send ur requests again.

For some reason, MY Mcode doens't wotrk. I got it to work yesterday, but it was erased when I was logged in as Player at school today.

I double-checked, the spelling, the # code itself, periods, commas and the spaces and it STILL doesn't work.

However any other code I borrow from the Nferno's list seems to work just fine. Any help?

so did you get your mcode yet? if your having probs with getting the mcode to work then just make sure you delete the mcode and the text first, log out and back in.
enter it back in ,dont cut and paste i find works better by just typing it in. type in your text then your mcode just remember not to press enter just click save

The MCode problem has mysteriously solved itself even without me needing to re-install and/or uninstall either SFO or Shockwave player.

While previously I can't type inside those particular boxes (ie MCode & Text boxes), there is now a cursor appearing inside where none existed before, and so it's just a simple matter of copying and pasting both the words and the numbers into them. *And it's the web version I'm using, though I'm sure the d/l version would also work fine.

Then to confirm it, I went on to online play and finally won ONCE after a long string of 8 or 9 losses conceded to fighting either lag or superior opponents. http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/Oo.gif

A "VIP" sign now appears along with my "Tournament Winner" at the start of a game, and my forum status has also been changed to that of a "Sponsored VIP", so I'm thinking that these two might be linked and solved simultaneously somehow.

~OL~Bloodywolf, sometimes errors happen when you input the outro and the mCode into your outro/mCode box in the SFO options window.

To solve this, make sure you copy the message without any spaces on either side of it. Copy the outros / mCodes directly from the email.

Simply click and drag across it to highlight it with your mouse, (making sure not to have any spaces on either side), then you click on your keyboard “Ctrl+c” to copy it. Click with your mouse in the mCode / outro window and then click on your keyboard “Ctrl+v” to paste it. Click Save and you are done.

One last tip, when you use either “Ctrl+c” or “Ctrl+v”, make sure your “Caps Lock” is not on.

If all that does not help, please send in new mCode requests or send in the old ones again.

Did you check your last email I sent you? I explained in detail how to solve the problems. When you get that last message you mentioned, it means you have either a "space" at the end or you pressed the enter key after you copy+pasted the outro into the outro field. Err...the NWO/mod/admin who gave you the code probably goofed up with the Mcode generator. Just re-send it.

1.)if youcopy and paste the mcode u might have copyed a extra space at the end so just go in the back of the last letter and check if theres a space if theres not then that means there is sumthing wrong but usally thats the problem and for forum perks i am a vip and i requested mines 2 wekks ago and still didnt get it and umm (M-H)Megaman DONT ask for ur mcodes here request them at the link the mods provided u will make there job so much better and i know this is 2 months late but this will help alot of people

Yes, mCodes are for all types of VIP's.

It'll work for both VIP Members and Sponsored VIP's.

In order to post in his topic, I must become a VIP on the forum.

From what other people are saying, there is a hidden section that VIP can see. I doubt I'll never get some mCodes that I really like but if anything, here's my last proof that I'm VIP in-game:
