SFO's anniversary and all we get is a story!? Ermm.. no! :) (But common, what's wrong with a story?) Even more fortunate, since it's SFO's 10th Anniversary =] this "story" is also an "event". Yes, an event! Play this mode countless times (don't worry we will actually be counting :biggrin:) and prizes are to be won! On the topic of prizes, they can be won in more ways than one! Time Attack is once again reintroduced, beat this story the fastest and prizes are to be won! With that, beat this story as many times as you can too, prizes are still to be won! Almost a win-win situation! What more could you ask for in an anniversary, right? :biggrin:

Hey I need somehelp here, I did the story 5 Times (Before all the 50 first spots were filled) and only 2 showed up...?

I did it again...yet still didnt show up (Yes has been way more then 5, minutes) (Definetly did it in less then 6 minutes, which is the 50th rank)

Here do this logic in your head:

There are 50 Top Scores,

All 50 Top Scores has not been filled until about 5 days after the realease of the story...so which means there is a spot for all scores., whether it was 1 minute or 100 minutes...It would show!

Now if i said i did it 5 times, on the first day...and waited 3 days later it wouldnt show...how can a 5 minute wait be the problem!!??

The one i claimed to have been done under 6 minutes...was the same day i posted the problem...Yes that might not have shown if it was higher then 6 minutes...but am not a moron I do have a logical sense of time...and even if i was wrong, it would not answer the question for how come out the first 5 only 2 showed up when there are empty slots left....

Vegeta's answer made more sense then yours, though i have doubts about that being the issue...But at least he read what i posted...

The way time is calculated is in minutes...
it is always rounded up somehow, so a 5 minute 1 second time would end up being a 6 minute run.

me and ob really need to ask tmyapp to add the seconds in the time records...
anyway, it can happen that a glitch can happen, after all sometimes for whatever reasons their is, the logs that calculates time happens only once making th etime not count at all. this is a bug that gets done by many other problems, problems we can't solve... aka you closing the window by the X before the script is even over with, if that hapenned for any reasons at all, this could of spunned the logs to not work at all.

now if even that didn't happen, there are still chances that other things could get in the way, as in start the thing and then hitting cancel on the loading screen or whatever other things like that could happen. the goal here is to finish what you started otherwise it might end up screwing your whole experience.

this system isn't perfect, the only guy working on such a thing did this to the whole of his knowledge. now as i said if only 2 runs showed, there might be a simple answer... the other 3 had problems related on how and when they were finished... as in if you closed down a run in the middle you might have screwed your case all together. just saying a possibilities here.

so when it comes to TMC, finish what you started, or else the logs will get screwed and might not adds up in the end. we've seen times goes for 600 minutes in the logs because a player had closed down the game and had restarted sfo to begin a new. so again the system isn't perfect.

we are sorry for such inconvenience but the way the system works cannot be changed. at least for now...

for the minute thing... sorry again, but when the logs were created they weren't supposed to serve as time attack data. as such seconds aren't taken in and as i said a simple second makes the next minute there... we're sorry for that one too.

the most we can say is, try doing it a few more times... see if it adds up or not !
if it still do not, then maybe something went wrong in the logs and you might be screwed all together. but to we'll have to check it...

x~Silver~x: Both, prizes will be distributed to those who complete it the fastest, and those who complete it the most (as stated in the first post of this thread). :)

As for the leaderboard being "broken", it's never broken but since technology doesn't seem to have the same AI as a human, things can easily get "tied up" :biggrin:. Generally the leaderboard is up and working, and has been since the release but I have been going through the time logs, manually counting "strange" results, so that everyone can be worry/stress free :biggrin:. If there are results which should be ranked, then it will be displayed either automatically or as soon as I can conduct manual checks.

Vegeta also answered why you may only end up with one result, if you completed the story/mode more than once. The leaderboard has been coded to remove duplicate results from the same person. I mean, it would be pointless to have the same result from the same person ranked on the leader board, right? :biggrin:

Also keeping in mind Karma's post, the times are calculated all in minutes, and seconds do not have an effect :(. If any time recording problem still isn't solved 10 minutes after my post, then I'm left speechless. :biggrin:

Your serious? Congress really made cooked dough a vegetable? Anyway I have a question about the onslaught story, is the first match supposed to use twice as many helpers just like the last match after you hit the replay button? And also is your partner supposed to be in tag matches?

1. Probably a glitch, but really why use helpers when you're playing as Onslaught?
2. By default, using Onslaught in Tag matches gives you a low health Sentinel as your partner, so yea, you're supposed to.

1. Makes it easier to land crossovers and variables and to keep the a.i. still...
2. sometimes my sentinel dies as soon as the match starts even though I never tagged him in... glitch?

Doesn't really matter as the main point of the story is to breeze through as Onslaught.

Can't really confirm to be sure, but assume that yes you do.

nope unless the story specifically count GV, the logs do not matter if you have GV on or not. but if there is creed used in the story then yes, GV is mandatory. because creeds cannot be saved if GV isn't on.

but normally for ogging purposes, GV isn't a necessity.

as it stands and by what i understand, i dont think such a thing would be necessary, because seeing such a thing would push people into pushing themselves. and thats not what orland0 wants at all.
