Swdir.dll - problem loading game

Umm... ok, this is the first time since the game started that I have had this problem. When I try and load the Web Version I get this message in a small window "Missing Shockwave Decompression XTRA" and it wont load the game.

Also when I try to load the downloaded version of the game I get this error message "Component "SwDir.dll" or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

Now I have installed/removed shockwave about 7 times and I still keep getting these error messages. Any ideas of what to do?

god dammit when DX goes down now someone needs help with shockwave -_-'.

Anyway..
Go to your Control Panel
click on add/remove programs
Delete BOTH macromedia shockwave player and SHOCKWAVE
Then install shockwave 8.5 from the link givin' at the end:

http://www.pathcom.com/%7Etmyapp/full/Shockwave_85_Installer_Full.exe

ugh.....did that and I still get the error. I even went into the registry and deleted everything that had "Shockwave" in it. Still not loading.....Can anyone help???

TMy is way to busy to help you...you probally didn't even follow the steps correctly...this time try installing shockwave 10.0 first and re-do the process.

Thats what I did.....I ended up Restoring my entire computer to get it to finally load right....you can close this thread now....
