you know one thing i realy hate about this game is.
when your playing and someone starts to talk the chat comes out.
cause of that you cant see well, or you push buttons to defend yourself for a blast or something.
and instead of blocking you are typing in the chat, and you get hit.

and the button you can set for chat is only for let the chat comes out but not to put it away.
because then it typs in the chat.

i would be very happy when that was gone.
that it was just like the button you can set for taunting, i got it on "H" and "J" is the hard punch for me.
so that is easy to press.
but to move your hand to the mouse to put away the chat, can make you vurnable for attacks for 2 seconds.
but those 2 seconds are enough to get a blast from ryu or a optic blast from cyclops.

i hated that i almost lost to a #### because of that chat button...

i cant post the whole word because word filter changes that(its an admin option

man, sometimes i lose because of that god damn button, but thats how tmypp put it so i guess we have to deal with it one way or another.

what i think should happen is on the place were u set ur controls put an extra feature to lock and unlockduring fights. like change the control to l and press l while ur out to lock it then after the fight press l to unlock it

This has been suggested I think last year, I was thinking like a lock button and you can unlock it whenever you want to chat and lock it when you don't want to so it won't come out.

that chat box is evil..... except for me its inconsistant, sometimes it comes out, and sometimes it doesn't
and if i click outside the box i can still fight, theres just a chat box in the way (does that happen to anyone else?)

yes this has happened to me numerous times...especially after a round they type "gg" or something like that and it really throws u off for a sec or two. Sometimes people cheat with it...just typing random stuff to get in cheap hits. Something should be done about this.

hmm... it should be a option where you can turn off in-game chat.
