A new holiday for us!

Alright! So now that the forum has been brought back to life, I believe that today would be a great day for a forum-only holiday. I mean, not many forums can just come back from the dead, especially with all of the member information still available. That being said, let's first decide on a name for the holiday: something that's original, but still relates somehow to the forum (not the game)..

I wish I did, but I really can't think of anything. ^-^; It's probably because Fang here is chewing on my dress, and I haven't slept in about five days due to lack of time, and random homework assignments and jobs. DON'T go into the oddjob business if you can help it, I tell you, it's difficult.

TMyApp may have started it (I don't know for sure), but it really shouldn't be his day. After all, he wasn't the one who was resurrected, now, was he? But we can think of making a Tmy day on a day that really was important due to him. Something along the lines of the actual creation of the game (but not the anniversary, persay..). Perhaps the day the forum was created.

On the contrary, it is a big deal. For a lot of forums, once it is over, it's over. Everything is gone, and nothing will come up again, and only mockery's of what once was will appear. Further still, SFO is a game, and not a forum-based.. thingy. It really doesn't/shouldn't need the forum in order to function, due to the fact that the game itself does feature a chatroom with almost the same features (minus a few, but the same restrictions). Thus, the fact that this forum did come back, even though it didn't really have to, is special. At least.. to the few of us who love the community it started, it is.
Besides, it's a holiday for the forum. Not the entire SFO, as I definitely didn't run around, while trying to get clearance for a holiday of a game that didn't even belong to me (and I probably won't try to, ever, either, unless the idea is well thought out, etc.). As far as "now" is concerned, it is just a "personally us" thing.

As far as the name of "rebirth" goes, I think it sounds nice. ^-^ But let's see if we can find anything else. Feel free to get creative, people. I don't care if we get names like "Fargle," but let's get some newer, special ones known.

It shouldn't be anything "rebirth" I think... to generic... used to often. We need something special, something new and not used up.

But we all seem to agree on the idea of rebirth, so instead of saying the word rebirth we could use another word. Here are some words I found that have parallel meaning with rebirth.

It doesn't. Reincarnation is the replacement of a soul into a different body. In other words, it's not the same anymore. Besides, there really isn't a soul to reincarnate, is there?

And all of those words are great. I love them all. ^_^; But my favorite is Vivification... It's a pretty word..

If I had to make up a name on the spot... I would call it, "Hitori Utari no Yume e no Yuuki yori zuttomaeni" ("One Man's dream towards tomorrow from a long time ago") but that's too long... so... to shorten it, I thought I'd let you all call it something, because I can't seem to shorten mine easily. ^-^;;;

Roll, I also liked the word vivification. Maybe since you can't shorten "Hitori Utari no Yume e no Yuuki yori zuttomaeni", you can change it to just a few words. That's hard to pronounce, so try to make it something that rhymes so even if people don't speak that language they can easily remember it and say it, something short and sweet. You know what I mean?

And the poll idea is very good but before we make that we have to come up with names. Here are a few of my ideas.

- "The Ineradicable Revival day"
- "Vivification of Our Forum"--- We could call it "V.O.F. day" for short

OMG I found this really great word, Dewy. How cute is that word? It has a really nice meaning to it: *Suggestive of the freshness or purity of dew, as in innocence or naiveté: never gave up the dewy outlook of youth.

That may be true.. but if I placed it elsewhere, it would have fallen under completely different rules. Yes, this is Random Insanity, but even random and insanity have their limits. This is one of those things that go just beyond the limits, but don't quite fit anywhere else, because this was just to find a name. A simple name. That was all I wanted. Then, maybe we could make a topic about the named holiday, and see if it would be accepted by a wider circle of society. Then, it would be in the other areas, falling under those rules both methodically and rightfully.
There is my logic and take on the situation at hand.
