Encountered other sfo players in person

I was meaning to post this topic after I had finished absorbing the update by playing SFO for hours on end... but as you all know the board suddenly went offline. Now that the SFO forum is back in full swing I'll share this with you all...

It was the morning of the update. I was at the mall just passing through some stores when I saw two people chatting. They appeared to be roughly 18 to 20 years old. As something had caught my attention in a store's window display, I stood beside them as they spoke to one another. Here is what I overheard...

"So, have you checked out the SFO update?"
"No. But I'm sure my Evil Ryu is still gonna be the best."

A very bold statement indeed. I didn't say anything... I just laughed to myself and continued browsing through the mall. That was it.

I guess I feel the urge to share this with all of you because I've never known of anyone in person besides Windarossa and Kinseb who also plays SFO. Naturally, the experience was unusual.

I can't recall who but one of you mentioned how you encountered a fellow SFO combatant on the bus... Since then, I've always wanted my own story. Well, there it is.

SFO doesn't seem to popular in Los Angeles, which is wierd. Maybe it's because Los Angeles is spread out horizontally and not in one small clumped area, so I wouldn't hear about it.

Hmm there aren't many people who play SFO here in London other than a few of my friends that i've introduced. Apart from them i've yet to meet with someone on SFO.

I really doubt the same feelings would be carried over to a real life encounter. Just cause you hate someone cause of what he/she did "online" during a game or an online forum doesn't mean you'll have an altercation during ur first meeting in the real world

I don't think there's anybody who plays in my area, but at Gigglebee's in Rapid once I met up with a guy who seemed to be around 18 or up, and after playing the original arcade game I told him he could play this online, he knew he could so I think he played SFO.

I've never meet any1 that played Sfo or visits except my friends that i introdued the game too.The only person that i know of that live in canada and Ontario is DPX(which lives in toronto 1 and a half hours drive away from london), He said it once. But i think theres some1 else but i can't remeber.
