Try to understand what I'm saying, before you argue please.

The best way to play and win in a game, is to play it the way THE GAMEwants to play. This means exploiting and studying EVERY aspect of the game and finding the best effective strategy THE GAME has.
What I'm trying to say is, you can't play the game the way YOU want it to be, but rather play how THE GAME wants to play. See where I'm getting at?

So you see, if an SFO player finds those cheap and sometimes easy at the same time strategies/exploits for them to win, they will take advantage of it. You can't hate the player for it, you hate the GAME.

Don't get me wrong, I am an honorable player and have alot of pride in the character that I play, which is Akuma. I will do anything I can to crush my opponent while still sticking to my own fair code, meanig not repating moves that often etc. If my opponent cheaps me and gets a win, then it's MY fault because I chose NOT to take advantage of the same cheap exploits he used against me.

Point of that stuffs: Don't hate the player hate the game.

you might be right about this, except when it comes to the point where the player isn't to blame !
the right way to look at it this way is... even if th egames want you to play his ways, you still are the ones that have the last words on it. so the decision to go cheap on a move isn't made by the computer, but rather the player. thus it is is ways of doing things.

but if only it was that simple the problem wouldn't be there in the first place !
thing is... people wants so much the wins athat they just do everything they can to win th ematch even if it includes using some alternate programs to cheat their ways into the game itself. that is what we call cheaters. those peoples just can't take a lose the right way they think they are the center of the world or the king of the universe and simply can't acknowledge the fact that they aren't perfect. even worst they can't acknowledge there is in this world someone better then them !

all this makes a fighting game nothing more then just another button mashing madness which i am sure none of you truly wants it to be. the second a person wants to win, they get rid of the fun factor cause for them winning is the fun and they start to think only about themselves and thinks they have fun but don't see that in the gaming industries its not always about yourself.

a good example of this is the online communities, why have th ecompanies made it possible ? for you to proove your god ? nope, they only thought you could have fun with others, not with yourself, but with others... thus they asked for you to have fun and not proove you are god in such games. fun is a two way thing, if you got fun then maybe the other guy at the end doesn't and if he doesn't well he just won't like the thing anymore. guess what happens when someone dislikes something ?

conclusion, if someone is being cheap, its not the games fault, it is his own views on the games that makes him plays that way, cause he thinks he got something to prooves and puts all his heart on it. not that it is wrongin itself, but he does it for all the wrong reasons !

thus it is his fault in the first place !

some players are too self arrogant to see this. some just get mad when they lose like me and say they are being cheap(which in a way, they are). thats why i hate using spiderman or akuma even if they are my top two best characters. espically spiderman cause he only has two moves:the web ball and kick. the spider sting hardly deserves to be called a move and they should really consider giving them more moves as well as throws. anyways some characters like spiderman only have two moves and when i use him and keep using web balls which are his main attack, people say im being cheap which i guess i was cause i repeatedly used web balls and i did do the kick too but they thought i was being cheap. u get were im going with this?

Yea, but they will eventually grow out of it and see SFO the way I see it and how it SHOULD be played. It's not all about rank, it's about mastering the gameplay and providing as much of a challenge and fun to your opponent, as much as as you have.

spiderman is my best character in sfo, but when i use him and win people say "you cheap" just because u lost doesnt mean that im cheap....some people master how to use cyclops and their not cheap. All characters are just fine. They are all put in the game for evryone to enjoy in there own way. There is no standard on how to play. If a person does the same move over and over again than what does that make him?? Hard to beat and Cheap??
I'd say that makes him predictable and weak. And if he wants to play like that than thats his choice.
Some people really think they know exactly what skill is and how evryone should play. That just shows how selfish some people are. They want evryone to play like them so they can have there lil fun. But they forget that having fun is based on peoples opinion of fun. For some people fun might be Rocket Punch Rocket Punch....
Who is to say how anyone should play anyway. Evryone plays on his own pc. They smash on there own buttons. Not that I smash buttons but I mean just let them be how they be and play how they play. When they have to face one of you so called supreme skilled fighters they will surely meet there end right...??

Some people like me take winning to a different level. I try to confuse my opponent YES. YES I try to get you stuck in a killing frenzy of Hadokens. Yes I try to use the most powerfull moves as much as possible.

Fact is that losers will always question and complain about the ways of the winners. Cause they can never grasp what it takes to win. They tell themselfs they only play for fun yet when they loose somehow they ar not having fun at all. They fill themselfs with anger loss after loss and they come and Explode in the forum. Ya'll really need to take a deep breath. And think about addepting. SFO is and will always be a competitive game. Nobody wonna loose. Either you evolve with the winners. Or you get roled over.

Ok i would have to agree that alot of people find a strategy that some people call "cheap" like cyclops constant blasts or sentinels repetative rocket punches. But it's really not cheap, its the way they wanna play the game and good players should be able to find a way to overcome this so called "cheapness". There's only thing I cant stand though. Let's say sum1 does a 1on1 tag, they pick 2 sentinels and a Venom and wins by doing varaibles and having Venom out the whole match. That dont bother me but what i hate is when he wins, he might say something like "U suk, you N00b". I mean serously, wtf is that about? almost 100%, But dont you think playing as if the game were
actually an arcade-like game, the gameplay basics would be
just a little different? I actually like the challenge of the
incredibly cheap players, I like to see how long I could last
or if I could beat them. I love the game no matter what, it's
the reason I bought two pc's and for this game alone.

Anyway you could say its like this...The way some would play it is just play "fairly" as to not be criticized after the match, then when they play fairly and the other player is somewhat

To be honest with you guys... i think none of you really are better then those who yells there cheap...
some have mentionned two things int heir posts two things which prooves that sometimes people overthinks it. these are...

1 - It's the game deal with it... (that's the way to see it and that'S right.)
2 - Their weak cause they do the same move over and over (actually nope, that just prooves you are deterioting others for the sole fun of acknowledging yourself. that is weak in my view! )

thing is... this game is unbalanced...
many moves are just too powerfull compared to the others thus players who have noticed that move actually uses it even more for its the move who kills, that's why spiderkicks and webballs are used while spider sting isn't !
same goes for all characters... thus its only normal for them to use that move over and over again. does that makes them weak ? nope not at all, if they were then many of them wouldn't be in that top 10. but because you think its stupid to do the same move over and over again is stupid, then clearly you think they are stupid while this might be true for certain individues it isn't for all !

thus the best way to take it is this way...
the game isn't perfect, the players aren't perfect whoever they claim to be.
just deal with it !
the same way flaming and bitching about life won't change it. its all the same, bitching, complaining and flaming won't change it either nothing will.
so just deal with it.

I'm agree with that quotation, cuz we all use strtegy to win one or another way . Inspite that i hate chaotic hadouken jumpers i can not en would not forbid it. We play the way we can.

Is it cheap or not, it dependes on loser's patiens en nervs. But the game is made the way that U CAN AVOID those rocket punches, hodoukens, optic blasts en so on. The game self would bcome not interesting if there were no escape from those moves, even raging demon is prventable en stopable!

So think about that.
