i learned about that 2 months ago. its pretty unique and very complicated to pull off.

i'm still tryin to figure out how to have liquid hydrogen used in cars....

i knowbut i find it intresting i believe that we had this technolgy to switch from using oil for some few decades nowbeacause my brother told me that. so what do you think solidsnake76?

but this unique because of the fact that people are willing to switch from anything there in brazil there are some cars running on ethanol you know that. yea i know i do my research and i'm not done searching http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

neither am i.

gasoline is comprised of hydrogen and carbon. what i been thinking is just removing the carbon element and a car could just run as normal as possible on just pure liquid hydrogen. but a problem with this is storage and performance.

liquid hydrogen requires special storage conditions to keep it in its liquid form without the threat of detonation, and what cars go through, from -35 to 120 degree temps(farenhiet), you might as well put a motion trigger bomb under the gas tank with all that shaking around. maybe if i could find a element to, in a way, cancel out its destructive nature, it could be used.

as far as performance is concerned, liquid hydrogen has less power output than hydrogen-carbons. a 10 second car could become a 20 second car. so it would need a more reactive but less damaging element to give it that boost. i'm still syceptical about mixing oxygen into the mix, what would it do in the combustion chamber. what if we used the same method for propulsion NASA uses for thier rockets?

the water concept is good but it needs a special metal alloy to trigger the reaction. i think that metal alloy makes it a waste of time.

Im guessing in about 10-15 years from now all cars will be electric... a new type of generator to generate enourmous amounts of electricity and even make cars faster than using age old gasoline...oil
