I was shock to see that dysfunction-x.net was closed since he's inactive and cannot run the site no further. As we cross our finger and hope that BG returns in the future. I'm planning to open a community for SFO clan.

I know that I have people that hates me for stupid reason or they think that I cannot run a site because of my grammar. I'm taking the risk on offering all this to the community.

This is going to cost me a bundle of money but I had couple of support on MysticGaming and hopefully I can receive the samething with AreaPX (name created by Cwing http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif )

When do we expect AreaPX to be launch? We are hopefully to released it by tomorrow (05-24-06) or Thursday (05-25-06), currently it's 11:43 PM eastern time.

We will have the some of the staff as Admin and Mod, if they accept and not only that, we will be running IPB v2.1.6 till than, I'll raise money to buy a new vBulletin.

The answer is no at this moment, but i'm working as quickly as I can.

I know that some of us are addicted to vBulletin, but I need to raise money to purchase another one, once I do, I'll transfer all data to vB. This is a support and please do not ask for a return present.

This site will never be shutdown, if it does, I'll get it up ASAP.

I got the hosting package 4 free from my friend, I have to pay him till July 15. I'm amaze that it took less than 30 minutes to have my domain up and running. My other hosting took 4 days to get all transfer completed.

As for vB license, I have to pay $160.00 USD. 5 dollar donation can support and also I'm setting up a google ads at least to help out alittle.

Exactly what I was thinking before investing on a fan site based off SFO. First, this site is BARELY an SFO fan site. Shoryureppa, Maximum Spider, and X-Force 2010 are 100% SFO fan sites. But I'll get into that in a little bit.

You have to be more original. This shouldn't even be considered an SFO fan site since only about 1/5 or a 1/6 of the site is SFO-based. That is why these little fan sites never turn out well, because the owners have not learned the definition of "fan site".

If you are going to have a site based off NFL football, are you going to give it a little section and add 5 other sections that has NOTHING to do with Football? What's the point of that?

These are just some helpful tips: Be more original, stick with the main source of your project (SFO), and manage it well.

Also, why do you hide the sections for? What's the point of that? Just take away the Guests' priveleges from posting. Hiding posts/topics is a lame way to get people to register, because really, there's nothing too special about that site that needs to be hidden, yet. It's still a copy version of DX, and we all know how DX turned out.

No, it's phpbb>vb>IPB.

Just because phpbb is a free source, doesn't make it any less than vb or IPB. With the right programming, phpbb is very customizable (if that's even a word). And the custom skins on pbpbb owns those IPB skins from extremepixels.

Also, in other words, this AreaPX is just a "HOST" for SFO clans. Other than that, just a regular multimedia board.

Clans are pretty much over and dead now. So there's actually no point; especially since for the past 2 months, the SFO official forum has been more active than DX/APX, which is saying alot compared to the hits Battle Grounds used to get (BG averaged well over 180 member hits daily).

It's all about activity.

That average was around '02 and '03 and than when BG got shutdown and moved from battle-grounds.org to battle-grounds.com. It got a little active in 04'-05' about 70 where most active. Till now, BG wasn't active like the old days and than it got shutdown.

Than DX went live and it pretty active.

You realize that most of the other people aren't active because they got tired of BG shutting down. Maybe some of them decided to give it a chance for DX and now it's shutdown.

When they have to keep registering and keep seeing the home clan shutdown within couple of minutes/hours/days/weeks/months/years than they just give up on.

Don't relate the APX with PX with the 2 months period! We haven't even been up for 1 week yet.

Well look me and you both being old admins from bg lets have our talk. Me and you both agreed on apathy being an complete idiot and a horrible forum owner. I'm not sure if you don't like ea or not. All I can say though it is something we can all work with. If you personally want to send me a list or email of ideas for which the site needs i will look at them and if I agree with what they are I will add them to the site. You are a very good friend of mine and I would very much so like you to be on the site with me. So just whatever you think needs to be changed/altered. Let me know everyone... what are your ideas?

Dx wouldnt be worth going back to.. to begin with. For those who don't wish to give me a chance OR to AreaPX. I will never let no ONE down. I will always keep AreaPX up and running UNLESS a huge stuff happens. Those will be if I'm in debt if something happens, incase a family dies, incase something happens to my family (medical payment, car issues, etc). I will always pay my hosting an advance to keep it up and running.

With everyone support, I can keep AreaPX running.

If the site is down for some reason, I will contact my hosting service unless I'm not at home to see what happens.

Your ideas are ALWAYS welcome! If you wish for me to ADD, I'll be glad to add it. If you feel that something is missing, i'll try my best to add it (modification to the forum).

Some people aren't joining because some are afraid that APX will be shut down like BG and DX, but THAT will never happen!

its acually for the domain and the hosting server that DM is using..he has to pay a bill to keep the site up and running...the site's catagory is based on SFO..but not the acually hosting package..the hosting package is V-Bulletin...and that where the money comes in...so once he pays for the VB package, he can make the catagory on anything he wants it to be..and he wants it to be on SFO clans......

Currently we have 6 clans up and running. There is NO clan limit like BG. I don't think we even need a clan limit unless official clans decide to be inactive for quite some times (which wont' happen).

Register or apply in the clan structure. It's fun when you represent ur team =D
