right...1st of all their is NO 4.2GHZ CPU at least not from intel...2.2gb? not really possible since most mobo's these days don't like ram paired with different sizes and since their is no such thing as a 200mb DDR/SDR ram type size..same goes for the 400MB video card ram...once again false since it usually goes from 64/128/256 for now...512MB comes laster on this year early next year http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif

I have a PC (2.2ghz AMD Athlon, 512mb RAM) and a laptop (3.2ghz Pentium 4, 512mb RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 9600). As for my internet connection I only have 567kbps broadband at the mo but its soon to be 8mbps which should be fun.

american yes...free cable no, i prefer satalite over cable, rather watch things LIVE then watch a tape deplay which ppl in the west coast get from cable companies.

Id like to take this moment to correct a myth about T1 lines.

T1 lines....SUCK.

To give you an idea, they cost well over $100 a month (rough estimate, probably way under), and their physical speed limit is 1.5mbit/s

I have cable, and it costs probably around $40 a month. I get 8mbit/s download, and Im guessing 2mbit/s up.

Verizon now offers FiOS, a fiber based service, starting @ $50 a month for 15mbit/s down and 2mbit/s up.

To reiterate: if you get T1 lines, youre not cool, and youre not getting a good connection. The ONLY reason to get T1 is if you're a business, and have no alternative.

And if you WERE a business, youd probably want Verizon's business FiOS service, offering 30mbit/s down and 5mbit/s up for a modest $200.

Oh, and my PC? its custom built (of course)
AMD XP 2800+ barton
1GB PC3200 RAM
nVidia TI-4200 graphics, overclocked to ~262 mhz core and 524 mhz mem
(note, that card was the best investment ive ever made in computers--the card can still handle modern games, even though its 4 years old XD)

Maxtor 80GB SATA drive
Maxtor (?) 28 GB ATA-133 Drive

My next pc will be much, much sweeter when i build it in 3-4 months. Gonna have a 550-600 watt powersupply, a dualcore AMD processor, 1-2gb ram, and a nvidia 6600-6800 card.
