Major lag my end!

Hey, im on a 2MB connection with no routers, Firewall allowing Street Fighter through, ive even tried turning everything off except SFO. But yet im still getting Major Lag, tried multiple account, web version, download version, i can hit someone with like a 60 hit, and it will take down none of there life at all. its like im not there lol, i'll get the odd hit connecting and taking life down, ive tryed switching ports everything. could someone please help?? http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif

Just because you have a high connection doesn't mean you'll experience 0 lag. You should go to http://www.maximumspider.com/2k.html and read on 2000warrior's explanation of lag.

You should try removing some of the "features" in the game and check out the performance. Like removing the background and sound... and turning off a few other options in the options menu and see how the game responds http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.com/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin2.gif

Also Turn The Music down to 0 Reduce lag more
Sound Down To 5 Then turn sound up on Computer

Network
Turn I am behind a firewall or a proxy (only if youare)
This will auto turn on
old connection mode (for Fire walls)

Other
Induce Seizures OFF
No background OFF
Disable Dashing OFF

if youhave any thing to say or ask me post it or PM me


Also i make my Sreen smaller to that is also Decrease Lag

Look at the lag lvl only 9. I got a lvl 3 lag lvl.

There is also a program that you can use to decress lag on sertin grograms but you will have to download sfo before it will work and just run it while playing sfo, i'll send u the link soon as I remmber were I found it.

i just close most of my applications and then use free ram xp pro to free my memory and then run sfo

well actually it plays a decent role in a game. the 4 requirments for a smooth game for u are
1)Good Internet Connection
2)Fast Computer newest hardwares, video cards, etc
3)Programs closed in background and good RAM
