I've heard its pretty good. Still awaiting a release here though.
The introduction of its 32 player online mode and vehicles has earned its place at the top of my current wish list.
ooo...Can't wait...Did anyone think that socom 2 was a flop?

Its free but apparently you need to provide your credit card details to play.

only to have friends, join/create clans, join much more games and participate in the message boards, as well as have a rank. but you dont need to pay at all, no payment whatsoever.

a headset is a must! without it, you are going to get lost in every single way, no matter how good you are.
and depending on the game mode and/or the terrain, your gonna need to use those vechicles too, unless you dont mind running 500+ meters to the target zone.

GRAND THEFT AUTO?
grand theft auto is an entirely different game apart from socom, it is nowhere near the league of SOCOM. its not even a shooter, its action adventure that cant go online and cant compare to socom, they are too different.
different genres, different storyline, different poop. try harder.
and half life, can it go from 2nd person to 1st? involved real military weapons and tatics? real world locations? fast paced action online?
