ok people here goes, many have asked which chars could ever be in or not. so here goes a list of what character is a good choice to become playable in SFO and which isn't.

This list will be updated if any changes have to be made...
but for now this list all that is acceptable...
anything else will be discarded automatically.
why ?
because first of tmyapp is a marve| type of guy...
second because he doesn't like capcom chars...
why SF then ? because his favorite game is XMvsSF !

ok here goes, SFA3 and MvsC2 are not used to create characters... SFA3 lacks on special effects thus making the hypers not even worth the SFO space, and MvsC2 even thought its emulated now, is still too much graphics for the engine, so it stays on the NO side !

so you got this right, no other chars will ever be gotten into the roster but those who are on this very list !

umm ... yeah ... i think by posting at 2am, our good friend Karma has overlooked a few "details"

... despite of what you might have read from the anti-TMyApp-hate graffiti on the side of your local supermarket, i don't actually "hate" and/or "not like" SF/Capcom chars ... (even though at heart, i really am a "Marv-e-pipe type of guy" http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.co...s/biggrin2.gif ) ... but unfortunately, the only/main reason (as briefly mentioned above) ... is that the SFAlpha chars do not have the necessary "hyper moves" in order to compare to their marve| counterparts ... this is why only SF chars from VS. games can be used ... (since they all have been super-charged with uber-cool hyper moves http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.co...s/biggrin2.gif ) ... however, the VS. games are based on a lot of the gameplay ideas which were started by COTA and MSH (things like "hypers" ) ... which is why chars from those games can be easily added to any of the VS. games (such as XvsSF, aka the game that SFO was originally based on) ... and in turn, this is why the list of marve| chars is longer than the SF chars ... (still with me so far ?? http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.co...s/biggrin2.gif )

... and of course the reason of why we don't have Non-SF chars, is the "insanity factor" ... it's bad enough we have to figure out of why exactly Cyclops and Ryu exist in the same "universe" (and seem to be "cool' enough bros" to shake hands on regular basis) ... but how do you explain Mega-Man and Norimaro fighting along side them ?? *blank stare* .... yeah ... that is something we are going to have to avoid around here http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.co...s/biggrin2.gif

also note that the TLF chars are also excluded ... (since, too much time has already been "spent" in order to turn them into the semi-useless form they have today) ... and of course the subject of MvsC2 has already been addressed above http://bbs.projectx.cyberfuturism.co...s/biggrin2.gif
