Forum Username Changes

In order to request a username change or alteration, create a new thread in the Contact A Mod forum and select the prefix "Username Change Request" which will mark your thread as a [USERNAME CHANGE]


What is an acceptable username change or alteration?

• Removal of a clan tag/name
• Removal of brackets, hyphens, parentheses, numbers or special characters that do not make the username unrecognizable after the change
• Changes needed due to discrimination/attacks
• We reserve the right to deny changes due to reason #3 if the case of discrimination/attacks is invalid.
• Members may state any reason not listed above, but we reserve the right to deny your username change request if that reason is not valid.

Change/alteration examples:

• Original: H4mm3r_0f_Th0r_99_(ink)
• Altered: H4mm3r0fTh0r99
• Altered: HammerOfThor99
• Altered: HammerOfThor

How often can a username be changed or altered?

• No more than one request every two years.
• If H4mm3r_0f_Th0r_99_(ink) requested an alteration on May 25, 2009, she may not request another alteration until May 25, 2011.

Can an entire username be changed?

• Can KingSagat45 be changed to Linda360 ?
• Yes. If the change is not seemingly arbitrary and random/without reason. That said, we will judge each user's specified reason on a case by case basis.
• Entire username changes based on an in-game account will only be valid/granted if said "user"s in-game account has been either created or active for a minimum of four months.
• If future exceptions to this rule arise, they will be noted here.
