XWorld is a custom built Modeller engine written from ground up...

Not written by me, but I plan on writing my own terrain and modeller tool in the future after I re-release a new build of Soul Shooter Online.. *spoiler*

Every FPS has some kind of health variable to it..

It's just up to the developer if they want to include a health bar or just put

Here is something else I was working on.. Using DirectX 9 based shaders in an old DirectX 7 3D Engine.. Water Reflection and Refraction.. Cool effects...

Haha.. yeah I am bringing it back..

A lil history..

I started to learn the Blitz3D Programming Language back in 2004 ( I was 14 years old at the time..).. so.. I started reading alot of tutorials and actually brought one of those Blitz books and wanted to create something. Believe it or not. Soul Shooter Online was my first game ever made by myself. The first version featured a flat plain with a castle.. I know some of you guys remember that.. and it has the infamous "green blob" like vip mentioned..


Now 5 years later.. I know Blitz3D like the back of my hand.. and create and code much advance things than before as you can see in these screenshots... so yeah those interested in the Game Development world.. I would recommend reading alot of stuff and learning slowly..

heheh.. Throw back man... I remember me, you and DM beta testing and hosting the servers that you created for us. VIA dedi-servers, if im correct.

Hell man, I can tell you right now.. This.. Looks WAY better than your lazy SSO project. (FPS Creator.), where you just click, paste, save, *Submit. *lmaoo..
Meh.. to add on:
SSO went from:
A Green Blob with a square gun, climbing on castle walls like the matrix, to humans with armor, who had guns, moon-walking and slidding across the floor, with crazy green explosives,
to red (or brown) blobs who shot each other with star powers (lmao) to FPS creator design.
Hell.. I still remember the level design you gave me, when we had to fly the little plane around that big ass level.
And still have terror-ed level design on my PC, somewhere. Lol.
I've been through alot of your projects.

Glad to see it back again, and I've notice.. You;ve advanced in the programming.

These screenshots appear much better than the previous beta version you released in 2005 (with the one castle, square-shaped shotguns, and "land" around the castle which continued on forever). I am indeed looking forward to the release of this game's beta version.

August 1st.. I will release the first beta of the new and improved Soul Shooter Online..


Good News is that I found some very very old source code from where I let .DM and LiquidSnake78 hosted a server for me one time.. Some of that code is still valuable and re-usable.


Anywho.. I have some new footage of the new map.. It's still needs work.. but so far.. so good..

but i think you should toy around with the physics first.
i'm not too keen on the whole floating in the air thing.

you know when you walk off the ledge and you just float to the ground below.

Thanks for noticing that SSJKarma.. I've been trying to battle with falling down and jumping physics for the longest..

My previous versions.. Players would just crawl up the walls and would just float around (jumping slow..) which is still happening now..., but hopefully I can get around to that sometime soon within the code.
