Default Better Gameplay Techniques

I've been playing this game for several years now, and everything is fine with it except two things:
First, the default techniques that are used in a match.... I mean, the whole match is just people spamming with Hadokens and Web Balls, then do a special or something like that....

The Solution?
Better Combos, without a doubt. Players need something different, as well as eye-catching, and the thing that will solve the problem is a set of [awesome] combos, as well as grabs.

The 2nd problem?
Well, not that it matters much, but the character select screen and life gauges, well, how do i put this......

THEY SUCK.

i'm afraid this is much easier said than done. Especially considering how old the engine SFO runs is.

Ok, mind if I tag along on this, Betakuma?

1. you know? this is SFO, man, your obviously gonna see alot of people spamming shoto single moves. Especially, when it comes to hosters who make brawl matches.

2. Grabs ain't gonna happen. It would benefit too much lag. Combos sounds like a better idea.

is there a point in this thread ?

dont know about you guys, but all i see here is bitching about how the game is bad.

let me be straight here...
the way players play cannot be changed by just switching around thing.
even if you bring more "awesome comboes" by whatever means it wont stop people from hadoukening madly. because thats what players like to do, spam moves, whatever fighting games you play, you will see people spamming moves, and comboes do not affect that at all.

wont happen because it would require better collision detection and that is a hell of a lot harder to do then it seem, it would require the need for grab like states which this game do not have and for a great reason at this.

Grabs, wont happen, reason being they work badly with lag. if you have played other online fighting games, you would of known that. they all suffer badly from lag. one of the reason being this game do not use any lag compensation technique such as latency. it is always a direct computer to computer game and that makes it a lot harder to make it it happen, so why bother adding something that will be adding more oil to the fire ?

the life gauge and select screen...
whatever you mean buddy, are fine.
it seems to me you just wanted to say the game sucks in a more litterate way. if you are gonna say they suck, at least give us a reason why, not just pretending like we everyone agrees, because thats clearly not the case.

take a good long look at these words and read their description a few time before posting here.

once you will know them correctly, perhaps and only perhaps can you come back here with a real thread that is actually helpfull. for now its closed for obvious reasons !
