Any more questions that need to be answered again?

I believe Leftyb, Nferno & Blanka might be the closet to TMyApp or more on an personal level but TF is definetly the direct voice for all of us to him.

If he is to have time to talk to anyone it would be TF.

Sha many people have tried to make a new fighter game but they all failed. I don't think TMy would ever give this game to someone else. I think the most he'd ever do is keep updating TMC. If we the staff had the same access to the game, it would either already gave been destroyed (damn near) or more updates give or take.

Best we can hope for is he's rebuilding the game with the unity engine

its really becuz all the old and good players dont take the time out to teach the younger generation how to play the game. therefore they complain about lagg and ish. all we ALL know there things that help us win that most ppl dont know.. like the glitches. lord knows how man glitches are in this game. but nooooo the good ppl dont want competition so they keep the a secret. that why i tip my hat to ppl like ITACHI, becuz he takes his precious time to teach. unlike the reach of you. and dont flex like u try to help the noobs. TUHHH!

Bump: AND BRING BACK THE SFO CASINO. i reember spending countless hours spinning that ISH lmao. fr thoe bring it back. plus we have some very mean MODERATORS. not saying iny names. i have friends on fb that use to play sfo. and juss about all of them have problems with the staff. idk if u dont like what im saying cause its #RNS. sooooo. im out :}

Take time to teach? O.o

I pretty well taught myself to play this game .. I may not be the best , but good enough to have fun and put up a fight (most of the time).. Anytime I did need help with a character id just mirror match and play till I'd understand how to use the character. Besides this game isn't rocket science.. Pretty straight forward.

And lol using glitches to win .. Reminds me when ken used to 1 shot using the uppercut special.. The only difference really is people used to post the glitches in the bug section of the forum so they can be fixed asap.. But due to recent circumstances it just ain't like that.

Lol very mean mods ehh .. Well all your friends can point fingers all they want .. Odds are they aren't playing cause of something they did on their own to cause that unrest with the staff. Meh if they're that troubled by the staff , let them cowar Away in the corner blaming everyone else don bother me none

There may be mean moderators, but half the people that bitch about the staff are the ones that cheated and started personal jihads against SFO in general.

I mean what the hell is with the drama behind so many people that makes them not want to play SFO? The principal? As if it were so ****ing important to the rest of the world that TMy go down in some kind of horrible flame because he made an internet game.

And as far as those people who don't hate SFO and still don't play it, then maybe they should come back.

And the stupidest part of it all is that most of the staff members that people hated in the past aren't even on the game anymore.

Even more than that in fact is that people conveniently forget that TMy has always been extremely picky about who he allowed to join the staff. The only staff member ever to get kicked out was Sbyrd, and people hated that. Nevermind the fact that Sbyrd went bat**** crazy and declared war on TMy IRL. I mean dubya tee eff man.

My point is SFO is a lot better off without a lot of the people who got banned. The ones that got banned for expressing their views? Their views pretty much equated to "**** TMy and **** SFO" and yet they continuously posted and flamed and begged to get banned.

I swear to god the entire 2007 - 2011 era was one long Reagan-reminiscent cold war between the staff and the veteran members. >>

But that **** got old. No one remembers anymore but us and the people who got banned, and we don't care anymore for the most part.

If you weren't a cheater, and if you grew up in the past few years, come the **** back.

... and system4/thedesktops

(Sha_Nicole), and a few others: many of us senior old school members are no longer teenagers anymore and have done our time as far actively playing the game is concerned.

Sure we will play a game or two from time to time, but nowadays the majority of our time is to continue to support the game and TMyApp in whatever way possible to the bitter end, whether that is creating an SFO wikipedia site, donating to the game, etc. We may just be "hanging out on the forum", but we are here to make sure the dream lives on for the new guys.

Actively playing the game every day is now for the new younger generation, not for old men/women like some of us.

You don't have to be in the game everyday to be active. It just doesn't make any sense to talk about activity when they don't have the time to play the game.

You clearly didn't comprehend my post, but anyway... just because someone doesn't play anymore, it does not relinquish their right to comment on the subject at hand.

What would be the purpose of complaining when they can't do anything about it? This topic been made about 10 times already. It becomes redundant, yeah, you're right though, I didn't understand it the first time, I guess you're basically saying because they been playing for so long they have the right to complain about something they can't control due to the fact they don't play anymore. I guess, child, anyway. Moving along from all of that.

told you guys, this thread was better off when lux actually locked it away.

so in order to love a game and know anything you have to actually play it over and over till your fingers bleed ?
if i didn't care for this game... i'd have been gone long ago. just like i did during my 2006-2008 time on world of warcraft.

it doesn't matter that you are a forum junkie or a game freak... whats matter is that you care for the game and still have fun playing it when you do. and as far as i can tell im still having fun out of this game. unfortunately when i do get in... there is barely ever anyone cause apparently you guys aren't on at the same time i do. granted i do get on too often either. but i still do and when i do i still have fun.

so the real question you should ask yourselves...
do you still have fun with this game ?
cause if you dont, then why are you still here ?

What would it take, besides money, to add SFO to Facebook's platform? Would it require redesigning the game?

my guess is it would require the Unity platform (like what SFX is built upon) to be able to be functional within facebook which as you mentioned would definitely require and entire rework of the whole game. In fact not a rework, a complete rebuild of a complete new game. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/unity/
I don't know of anyone else who could do it besides TmyApp, because , let's face it, if it was that simple someone else would have done it by now.

As LS said, this game still doesn't really have any competition out there (unless u count Mugen which many don't) so it really is a unique game.

Back in the day money and promotion really wasn't the be all end all of keeping the game alive.

Maybe it was the lack of modern gen video games that kept XvsSF so active, but SFO came out when **** was getting real and it didn't stop being active until people physically got up and left.

The community is the main draw for a game like SFO. When the community grows, more will come. Activity begets activity.

Very true, SFO was active even through the release of the xbox 360 and PS3.

Maybe it's down to the fact that most of us grew up on the O.G Streetfighter.

Kid's these days got introduced to the Streetfighter IV series. They probably wouldn't recognize SF in this format.

I still think there's room in the gaming world for SFO, as someone said this is a very unique game, it reminds me of Gunz Online, full of glitches and lag, but ****ing fun.

New characters wouldn't have done much.

Nobody wants to play a broken game, end of story. To us we understand the lag but to new people the game is broken

Lol, honestly within the whole mod (BLUE GUYS) i dont see any bad apples at all.

Maybe some sour grapes at point, but no bad apples. You cross paths with one of us wrong, then you already loss.

We give more than enough chances, Just some people believe they are above the SFO law and when we shut them down over and over, and other people try to stick up for them and get shut down to, they feel some type of way lmfao.

I feel the end coming near with this thread though...
