Default Nash [ Charlie ] As Playable Character.




[ Stance ]


[ Forward Walk ]


[ Back Walk ]


[ Forward Dash ]


[ Back Dash ]


[ Projectile: SonicBoom ] Since we already have Guile as a helper you can use his sonicboom as charlie's projectile and just input Ryu's hadouken command. [ Down Foward + Punch]


[ Somersault ] Input command as Ken's Dragon Punch. [ Down foward down + Kick ]

~Supers:


[ SomersaultBreak ] Would fit perfectly such as ken's Dragon Punch super. [ Down Back + 2kicks ]


[ SonicBreak ] from his Xvssf serious, About 17 hits. Works very well as a special.


V.I.P: [ Form of RD ] Would most likely make the dash travel a longer distance so it fits SFO's style of RD.

Sure I could have probably explained this better but it's alright. Comments and suggestions on him?

Then again, they kinda suck.. like Skull Driver or Diver or whatchamacallit.

I know, I only posted a small amount since it's just a suggestion. If I put a full out Nash mechanic I'd be here a while. This is just a basic set up. We can explain the rest in the post and replies everyone sends in. A charge function for his Sonic Boom would be a lot more interesting then Down Forward Punch. But like you said look at skull crush.. never used.

The downward flash kick would be nice as well, maybe that can be a charge move like bison's skull dive or it could be up forward down.

Yes I was thinking that, at the time my program was going slow so I didn't feel like waiting for the sprites to finish. I'll B.U.M.P with it later.

@Levi: I was thinking Guile at first but since this is an Xmen Vs. Streetfighter based time I choose Charlie; Besides, Charlie actually had a dark side in Marvel vs Streetfighter so we could get an easy V.I.P outlook for him, RD,and specials. Also, we could add the Sonic wave from his somersault to his specials and regular somersault kicks. Give him a little Charlie goodness.

though i'd like to have charlie in this game, or guile for that matter. i am quite sure they wouldn't play as they are in the original game.

super wise, i like his sonic barrage.
but flash break is also a good one. anti-air as well. i love it.
i wouldn't like the charged move unless necessary.
i always thought the charged move was just a way to stop people from abusing the said move in real capcom games.
i'm all against them to begin with. though it didn't stop tmyapp from using them.

Well we are SFO we don't want to play like he would in normal capcom games. Look at.. Ironman for instance (=.

Flash break does make a fantastic anti-air.
Plus the Energy wave from Somersault would be a fantastic counter.
Charge moves would just make him more unique. If you have gave Down Foward Pucn [ not a bad idea I'm not against it ] He'd be a shoto with a new look.
Though we really button mash here so I see where your coming from.
Charlie in my opion would take away from Dragon Punching and let us know there is more to this game then hadouken. I mean who can be upset when using sonic boom?

I rather include Charlie in the game, we already have guile as a helper already, of 2 reasons:

1. Charlie is a great character especially in X-men vs. Street Fighter, cuz his Air Combos are massive, (trust me, i play him & I know wat I am talking about) his sonic booms & breaks are good attacks that can do alot of dmg at the right time.

2. Just have to find ways to fix him a bit, then he'd be a great asset to SFO, trust me on that? in my opinion, Charlie is ownage on XvsSF (arcade version MAME emulator). but Guile does have better blade kicks though.

They could make him work.

I'd much rather keep his input functions as charges, but that's IMO.

Charlie isn't really all that popular with the community, but the way you describe it, he sounds pretty nice.

I mean by Inputs. It can also be like Chun-Li's. because Bison & Chun-li Input Keys are kind of difficult to do "Hadoken", Or what ever you call Bison's Mini Ki Balls.

Why is it that in every poll for a new character, there are always more votes for yes than no??
I actually dont like charlie and his fighting style. I would much rather prefer gambit (like thats going to happen soon). My point is, if you guys want to decide on a new character, at least pick your favorite. If every new character that is introduced into SFO gets "yes" as a majority vote, then is it likely that TMyApp is going to program them all in?

That's what I'm saying. With Gambit that have to think how to input him sfo style. Charlie in my opinion, would be easy since 1. He has a flash kick like a dragon punch, 2. Sonic boom [ Guile's helper ] Already done. 3. Special moves, Just add more sonic booms. Idk I'm not quite up to speed on how SFO does things but as a player this is how I see it done. Gambit would require A LOT of work to fit.. What are his anti airs? Specials? VIP specials? Charlie's are all listed and then some more. See what I'm saying?
